Met our Trucker son here for lunch because they had truck parking. We had a Baked Potato with Brisket, Brisket Sandwich and potato salad. All VERY good. Self serve (order, receive and pay at the counter) but very friendly attentive staff. Everything else looked great. Came back on Sunday on our way out of town for their Sunday Buffet. For 10.95, I wasn't expecting much. Was I ever surprised. MEAT, sides, salad, desserts and assorted breads. The smoked chicken was so moist. Fortunately for them, my stomach is small due to surgery because I wanted to try it all. Meat dishes included ribs, sausage, chicken, turkey, ham, Brisket all perfectly smoked. Several sides dishes, 4 desserts, salad, assorted breads etc. Buffet is Sunday 10:30 to 4:00.
This place is great. A Columbus, TX landmark. I've been eating here when passing through for 23 years. It's just a very quiet place, I'm assuming, because everyone is stuffing their faces. But very good food. Plenty of truck and RV parking. The pic I posted is on a Sunday morning. It does get busy.
Easy stop for Semis. Brisket was great, bbq sauce very different from what I’m used too but it was nice. Not a fan of the beans, they had a refried bean taste. Potatoes and potato salad were good too. Really cool decor and very clean.
Delicious! The meats were awesome, I should of tasted the ribs. The sides were great as well. Loved they sweet pea salad. They were even giving away free pieces of lemon cake, maybe due to it being close to closing time (8pm). Either way, we definitely took advantage.
I loved my plate! I got ribs, green beans, potatoes and coleslaw. I also got the best scoop of banana pudding that I'd had in a while. I even paused long enough to take a picture before I ate it all. Yum, yum, yum.
Oh!!! Very good place to get fresh meal! We stopped here for first time, and definitely will be back! My brisket was soo good. Chiken was good too. All meat was fresh and juicy. Only bbq beans was not that good. Rice was good! Nice and unique place. Great atmosphere inside and people are nice.
Excellent food at a reasonable price with top notch service! So glad I stumbled upon this awesome place! Highly recommend the ribs and the sweet tea! Bonus: they have truck parking!
The barbeque was great and delicious the ribs was tender!!! And the customer service was even better I'll definitely be back again I give it a 10/10!!!!!! And the young woman Bobby was so nice,polite and respectful thank you Bobby!!!!!
